Gransfors Bruk Wildlife Hatchet

Received my first Gransfors Bruk product, I'm impressed with the build quality and sharpness.

Its quite uncommon to use a hatchet in tropical jungle environment, which locals tend to use Parang to do the woodwork. Nevertheless, my fieldtest with the GB Wildlife Hatchet reach my expectation.

This axe maker is second to none. I have about eight of their axe, an hatchets.

This axe is the perfect size for a day hike. Light and does what you your knife can't do as efficiently.

Purchased as a birthday gift for my daughter. Delivery was prompt and the hatchet was packaged well. It arrived very sharp out of the box and is a beautiful piece of craftsmanship. My daughter loved it!

I've been wanting a hatchet for a while for camping and backyard fires and research showed Gransfors Bruk is the best of the best. It was a toss up between the wildlife hatchet and outdoor axe. I'm glad I went with the wildlife hatchet due to the oval handle instead of round, larger blade and slightly heavier axe head. I'm happy with Appalachian Outfitters for having these in stock and getting it to me relatively fast. Overall I'm very satisfied with this purchase.

Ordered a Gransfors Burks axe which is an extremely high quality product, but the best part was the ease of purchasing from Appalachian Outdoors. I will defiantly use them for future outdoor purchases. Great customer service!!
