Bring adventure into your daily grind. Inspired by the verdant canopies of northern boreal forests, we’re pleased to present the 940FE-2601 Osborne in Taiga Green aluminum. Featuring our FDE PVD Battlewash blade finish over S90V stainless super steel, we’ve accented the Taiga Green handled with Burnt Copper hardware accents, combining earthy tones, premium detailing, and lightweight materials into a refined EDC that strikes a balance between classic outdoor styling and cutting-edge performance. Answer the call of the wild with the Taiga Green 940 Osborne.

MEET THE Osborne

Designed with purpose and built to last, the Osborne sets a high bar for durability and performance matched only by our promise that it will be yours, for life.

HOW IT'S MADE

Every Benchmade knife begins with high-grade steel, laser-cut for precision and strength. Each blade is meticulously ground, beveled, and finished to exacting standards, ensuring exceptional performance and durability. Our handles are milled and machined in-house to the tightest tolerances, then hand-assembled and sharpened by expert technicians. With over thirty years of manufacturing excellence behind every edge, our knives are proudly crafted in our state-of-the-art facility in Oregon City, Oregon.

BLADE STYLE

Reverse Tanto

Defined by the bevel creating an upside-down tanto profile, adding weight forward on the blade.

BLADE STEEL

CPM-S90V Stainless Steel (59-61HRC)

A true super-steel, S90V offers substantial improvements in corrosion resistance over 440C and wear resistance beyond that of any other steel in our lineup.

USE & CARE

Proper care and regular maintenance help make your Benchmade knife yours, for life. Here are some tips for keeping your Benchmade in peak condition:

• Prevent Rust:  All steels, regardless of grade or price, can eventually rust. To avoid corrosion, always keep your knife clean, dry, and lightly lubricated. If rust or spotting appears, a quality semi-chrome metal polish can usually restore the finish.

• Hand-Wash Only:  Always hand-wash your knife with warm water and mild dish soap, then dry thoroughly.

• Use as Intended:  Benchmade knives are precision cutting tools. Do not use your knife as a pry-bar, screwdriver, chisel, or punch—unless specifically designed for those functions.

• Sharpen with Care:  If sharpening at home, avoid grinding wheels and high-speed machinery, as they can damage the blade. Use appropriate hand-sharpening methods for best results.

• Tighten Hardware:  Over time, handle, pivot, and pocket clip screws may loosen. Use T6 and T10 Torx drivers for adjustments and apply a small amount of releasable thread-locker to maintain secure fittings.
